The PGE Electric Vehicle Experience
Portland General Electric invites you to participate in an Electric Vehicle (EV) Experience. Join us at one of our upcoming events for a personalized EV experience.
Register for a Ride & Drive where you will have the opportunity to test drive (or ride along) in a variety of new EV models, connect with EV experts to ask all of your questions, play EV trivia and more. You can also attend an EV Discovery event at one of OMSI’s Science Nights where you’ll learn what the EV buzz is all about.
All events are free to participate in and open to the public. To register for a Ride & Drive event, simply complete the registration form and select an appointment time. We look forward to seeing you there!

Questions and answers about PGE EV Ride & Drive events
An EV Ride & Drive allows event participants to test drive new models of electric vehicles. There is no cost to participate and registering in advance is highly recommended to reserve your test drive time slot.
A valid U.S. driver’s license is required to drive any of the vehicles. Don’t have a valid driver’s license? You can sign up to be a rider where a vehicle representative will take you along the route.
Yes! All PGE EV Ride & Drive Experiences are free to participate in.
At this time, all PGE EV Ride & Drive events are in-person events.
